HVRPAL ("HVRPAL," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information collected automatically through your use of the Service.

Information you provide

When you create an account or use the Service, we may collect:

• Name.
• Birthday.
• Email address.
• Phone number.
• Company name.
• Company information.
• Company address.
• Profile photo.
• Messages, prompts, or other content submitted through AI-related features.

Information collected through your use of the Service

We may collect or store:

• Account and login information.
• User activity logs.
• Content you save in the app.
• Data stored locally on your device using secure storage, local storage, or similar technologies.
• Location information required for app functionality.
• Camera, microphone, and photo library access when you choose to use those features.
• Processed images handled by third-party services.
• Subscription status, entitlements, and purchase-related identifiers processed through our subscription management provider.

2How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Deliver charts, calculators, tools, and HVAC/R educational features.
• Personalize your experience.
• Process subscription access and purchases.
• Enable app functionality that depends on location, camera, microphone, or photo access.
• Store user settings and preferences.
• Monitor account usage and activity.
• Maintain security and prevent fraud or misuse.
• Review AI-related submissions for compliance with our Terms of Use and to detect abuse.
• Respond to user requests.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3Account registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. Your account may require an email address and password, and may also include your name, birthday, phone number, company information, and profile photo.

We use your birthday to help confirm that you meet the minimum age requirements described in our Terms of Use.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity associated with your account.

4Location information

The Service may use location information to support app functionality. Depending on your device settings and permissions, location may be accessed while the app is open and in the background. We do not use location history, and we do not store location information for tracking purposes.

You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings, but some app features may not function properly without location access.

5Camera, microphone, and photos

With your permission, HVRPAL may access your camera, microphone, and photo library. This access is used only for features you choose to use.

We do not upload photos or videos to our own servers, but images may be processed by third-party services as part of app functionality.

6Payments and subscriptions

HVRPAL is a subscription-based service. Purchases are processed through Apple in-app purchases and Google Play billing. We do not store payment card information on our systems, and neither Apple nor Google shares your full payment card details with us.

We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform, to verify entitlements and manage subscription status across devices. RevenueCat may receive a device- and app-specific user identifier and purchase/transaction data (such as product purchased, price, and renewal date) to provide this service. RevenueCat's handling of this data is described in its own privacy policy.

Subscription terms, renewals, upgrades, refunds, and billing management are handled by the applicable app store provider under its own terms and policies.

7Children's privacy

HVRPAL requires users to be at least 13 years old to create an account, consistent with the eligibility requirements in our Terms of Use. Users between 13 and 17 years old may only use the Service with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without the consent required by law, we will take steps to delete that information.

8Data storage, retention, and deletion

We retain the personal information in your account for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the Service.

When you delete your account

You may permanently delete your account and the personal information associated with it at any time:

• In the app: go to Profile, then Delete Account, and confirm. This deletes your profile information (name, contact details, birthday, company information, and profile photo) and your login credentials.
• Without app access: email us at officialhvrpal@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account and request deletion. We will process your request within 30 days.

After deletion, we may retain limited information where necessary for legitimate business, legal, security, or accounting purposes, including:

• Transaction and billing records associated with your subscription, which are also retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat under their own retention practices.
• Records reasonably necessary to detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, abuse, or repeat violations of our Terms of Use.
• Backup copies of data, which age out and are overwritten in the ordinary course of our data management practices rather than being individually deleted on request.

Accounts suspended for suspected violations

If your account is suspended or disabled because we reasonably believe it was used in a way that may involve illegal activity, a safety risk, or a matter appropriate for referral to law enforcement — including through misuse of AI-related features — we may retain your account information and related submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate the matter, respond to legal process, or support a law enforcement referral, even if you request deletion.

Outside of the circumstances described above, we do not apply a fixed minimum retention period to personal account data, and deleted data is not recoverable.

9Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data for targeted advertising. We also do not allow public profiles, user-to-user messaging, or public content sharing within the app.

We may disclose information only:

• To comply with law or legal process.
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of HVRPAL, our users, or others.
• To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected illegal activity, safety risks, or violations of our Terms of Use, including referring matters to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where appropriate.
• To support essential business operations, if necessary.
• If required in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

10Third-party services

HVRPAL uses the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Firebase Authentication, for account sign-in.
• Firestore or Realtime Database, for storing account and app data.
• Firebase Storage, for storing uploaded content such as profile photos.
• RevenueCat, for subscription management, entitlement verification, and purchase-related data as described in Section 6.
• Apple App Store and Google Play, for processing subscription payments.

These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. We recommend reviewing Google's, Apple's, and RevenueCat's privacy documentation for more information about how those services handle data.

11Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. Access to personal data is limited internally to authorized personnel only.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12Your choices and rights

You may:

• View your account information.
• Edit your account information.
• Delete your account and the personal information associated with it, at any time, as described in Section 8.
• Revoke app permissions through your device settings.

Some app features may not work if you disable certain permissions.

13California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and the right to request deletion of certain information, subject to legal exceptions.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

15Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version in the app or on our website and update the effective date above.
